Services & Programs

1What services does EHS provide?

We offer three core programs:

  • Residential Group Homes with 24/7 care in a safe, home-like environment

  • Ayuda In-Home Support for individuals who prefer to remain in their own homes

  • Club Elite Day Program, providing engaging daytime support, learning, and recreation

2What is the Club Elite Day Program like?

Our day program offers a structured and supportive environment that includes skill development, recreational activities, creative arts, health and wellness, and social engagement. Transportation, meals/snacks, and therapeutic services are also included.

3Do you offer specialized support within these programs?

Yes, all programs are personalized and may include behavioral support, healthcare coordination, life skills training, and family support as needed.

Eligibility & Access

1Who qualifies for EHS services?

Our services are available to individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities, often referred through Virginia’s Community Service Boards (CSBs). Private referrals and inquiries from families are also welcome.

2How do I begin the process of enrolling in services?

You can start by contacting us directly or working with your local CSB. We will guide you through the eligibility, intake, and care planning process.

3Are services covered by Medicaid or other funding sources?

Yes, most services are Medicaid-funded through the Developmental Disabilities Waiver. We can also assist with understanding available funding options and navigating applications.

Care Approach

1How is your care customized for each individual?

We develop personalized care plans based on the individual’s abilities, goals, and preferences, in collaboration with their family, guardians, and care team.

2What is the difference between group home and in-home support?

Group homes provide shared residential care with 24/7 staff support and structured daily routines. In-home support is delivered in the individual's private residence and is tailored around their existing lifestyle and environment.

3How are families involved in care decisions?

Families play a key role. We maintain open communication and encourage ongoing participation in goal-setting, planning, and progress reviews.

Licensing, Safety & Support

Yes. EHS is fully licensed in the state of Virginia to provide person-centered, community-based support in accordance with state and federal standards.

2What safety measures are in place in your homes and programs?

We follow strict health, safety, and emergency protocols. All staff are trained in crisis response, medication management, and specialized care procedures.

3Do you offer transportation services?

Yes. We provide safe and reliable transportation for day programs, community outings, and essential appointments, depending on the service plan.

4How do you ensure quality and continuity of care?
